These general purpose pruning anvils are ideal for hard, woody and general pruning.

Anvil blades help reduce stress on the wrist when cutting older, thicker stems. The blade closes on a softer metal in the lower jaw that avoids unnecessary pressure on the hand. This does not produce as clean a cut as bypass pruners, but this is not as important for older growth.

These pruners have a 19mm cutting diameter and the coated blades allow for non-stick pruning and easy cleaning. They are suitable for both left- and right-handed people.
